Edmund Arroyo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker. He is a graduate of University of Illinois at Chicago Jane Adams School of Social Work and Knox College in Galesburg, IL. He is the founder of The Heartspeak Institute, where the goal is to provide counseling and education to individuals, couples, and families in an environment that respects their individual and cultural dynamics. This could be as fundamental as the individual’s family culture or broader. He employs principles within Cognitive-Behavioral therapy & Dialectical Behavior Therapy, within the framework of Systems Theory, when working with his clients. As a result of his extensive experience counseling families and couples, Mr. Arroyo has been asked to present on marriage and family issues at numerous conferences. He has been doing individual, group, and family counseling since 1998. With experience in hospital, public schools, and a child welfare agency, Edmund has worked with clients on many types of individual, family, and societal issues. He has been conducting yearly parenting seminars, teacher institute trainings, and motivational speaking since 2001.
Jenna Reisch Quinn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker. As a Social Worker at various schools in the Chicago area, Jenna has supported students and their families facing various trauma experiences, mental health diagnoses as well as building social emotional intelligence and resilience. Jenna is very familiar with the public school system and enjoys collaborating with school staff. She is an open-minded, positive and empathetic individual who modifies her therapeutic approach to best meet clients’ needs. Her experience includes social skills training, navigating relationships, crisis intervention and trauma, grief counseling, addressing the common challenges of anxiety and depression, LGBT related challenges, and many others. As a high school coach and former Division I athlete, she is also passionate about guiding student athletes in reaching their full potential and addressing personal barriers to success. She looks forward to building a therapeutic relationship and empowering her clients.
